2018-2019 Course Objectives
Year Outline
In this class you will work on both individual and group projects. I will meet with each student to set up a comfortable work situation that increase the likely-hood for success in the classroom. During the year we will work on many different types of projects involving all types of medias (presentation development, graphic design, video production and web design). Primarily, you will be working on your presentation skills. In the communications industry it's vital to be able to deliver an effective presentation in front of an audience.
We will cover Digital Concepts Applications Ch. 1-23 and other materials listed below. The format will usually follow with a lecture, worksheet, and quiz. Collins Type 3 Essays will often be assigned during the class. I will work on keeping the most current writing assignment posted on this site.
As a class we will utilize google.docs and Microsoft office to work on writing assignments, and self grading project assignments. Please note that this site is a list of planned assignments.
