2018-2019 Course Objectives
Year Outline
In this class you will break into groups, and work on video projects. We will cover Zettl Chapters 1-6 and other material listed below. The format will usually follow with a lecture, worksheet, crossword and quiz. Collins Type 3 Essays will often be assigned during the class. I will work on keeping the most current writing assignment posted on this site.
As a class we will utilize google.docs and Microsoft office to work on writing assignments, and self grading project assignments. Please note that this site is a list of planned assignments. In class we will often work on formative assignments to help develop skills. Should you or your parent require any additional information please contact me at [email protected]
Project 1a- Anti-Bullying/PSA Assignment (60 seconds) (Editing Allowed)
Project 1b- Jimmy Fund/PSA Assignment (30-60 seconds) (Editing Allowed)
Project 1c- Why SHS is cool/PSA Assignment (30-60 seconds) (Editing Allowed)
Project 2- American Red Cross Project (30-60 seconds) (Editing Allowed)
Project 3- Promote a Class (30-60 seconds)(Editing Allowed) or Hockomock Film Project (Time to be decided)(Editing Allowed)
Project 4- The More You Know Project (1-3 Minutes)(Editing Allowed)
Project 5- MasdotSafety Video Project (1-3 Minutes)(Editing Allowed)(For Term 1 this will be the first assignment contest)
Optional/Extra-Credits Opportunity- Diversity Project (1-3 Minutes)(Editing Allowed)
Final- Multi-Media Advertising Web Project (6 WEB PAGES/ 30 SECOND EMBEDDED VIDEO LINK/PRESENTATION/REFLECTION QUESTIONS)
